Portraits and Alternative Printing :
Beyond my passion of creating portraits, I have been working with a unique method where I take an image (film negative, polaroid etc.) and then print on Kozo mulberry bark paper and then mounting it on planks of wood in various combinations. I have also been experimenting with printing transparencies then utilizing a gel plate to transfer the image and then picking it up with various types of papers and then organizing them as a mosaic and/or creating multi-layered images that give the impression of being multi-dimensional and becoming imperfectly beautiful portraits.
